The Master of Science in Nursing Program offered at Harsha College of Nursing is affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore, Karnataka is recognized by *Govt. of Karnataka. The Program prepares Nurses for higher positions in Nursing and health care fields who can function as specialists, Educators, Administrators and investigators. The program prepares Nursing Graduates who are professionally equipped, Creative and motivated to effectively deal with the day-to-day affairs of the existing constraints and to act as a catalyst for social change. The course provides the ability to practice independently as a Nurse Specialist,also to function effectively as Educators and Administrators.

Admission Criteria for M.Sc. Nursing

  • The candidate should be a Registered Nurse and Registered midwife or equivalent with any State Nursing Council registration.
  • Minimum education requirements shall be the passing of B.Sc., Nursing/Post Basic , B.Sc. Nursing with minimum of 55% aggregate marks.
  • The candidate should have undergone the full time (regular stream not distance mode) Course in B.Sc. Nursing / Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing in an institution which is recognized by Indian Nursing Council.

Entrance / Selection Process: Selection of the candidates shall be based on the merit in the Entrance Examination held by University or competent Authority.

Specialty: Medical and Surgical Nursing, Community Health Nursing, Paediatric Nursing, Obstetrics and Gynaecological Nursing and Psychiatric Nursing.
